The 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel was build in 1903. It has continued to serve budget minded world, and local traveler's with clean, safe and economical lodging.

The 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is centrally located to the many cultural attractions in the "Mile High City". With public transportation across the street, traveler's have easy access to the rest of the Denver metro area. Local attractions include the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Denver Zoo, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver City Park, Cheesman Park, 16th Street Mall, Colorado History Museum, Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver Museum of Dolls Toys and Miniatures, and Historic Larimer Square. The festive Lodo district, Colorado State Capitol, Denver Civic Center and Park, and the world's greatest bookstore, the Tattered Cover, are also nearby. Denver has been designated "Sport City USA" and is also a major gateway to mountain recreation and world famous Estes Park as the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. More than 176 restaurants lie within one mile of the hostel. We are a 20 minute walk, or a 10 minute shuttle ride from Coors Field and Rockies Baseball.

If you are coming from the South of Denver;

I-25 North, to Lincoln St. Broadway exit 207A. Take Lincoln St. Northbound, (stay to the right). Take to 12^th Avenue Westbound, (left) approx. 2 miles. Then turn on Broadway Southbound, (left). The 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is at the end of the block on the East side of Broadway, (left side).

If you are coming from the North of Denver;

I-25 South, to 38^th Ave. / Park Ave. exit 213. Follow to Park Avenue West toward Downtown. Take to Broadway Southbound, (right). The 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is at 11^th Avenue and Broadway on the East side of Broadway, (left side).

If you are coming from the East or West of Denver;

I-70 to I-25 Southbound. I-25 South, to 38^th Ave. / Park Ave. exit 213. This is the first exit when entering Southbound I-25. Be careful as it gets busy. Follow to Park Avenue West toward Downtown. Take to Broadway Southbound, (right). The 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is at 11^th Avenue and Broadway on the East side of Broadway, (left side).

Directions From Train or Bus Depot:

Walk to the 16^th Street mall, (1 or 2 blocks from either place). Get on the FREE shuttle bus too Civic Center Station. Walk South on Broadway (toward park, away from downtown) 4 blocks to 11^th Avenue. The 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is at 11^th Avenue and Broadway on the East side of Broadway, (left side).

Directions From Airport:

You will probably be happiest taking Super Shuttle as your transportation into the city. They can be found on the web at www.supershuttledenver.com. If you book it ahead of time, let them know you are coming to 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel. They have us in their database. Their phone number is (303)370-1300.

You can take a taxi.

You can take the RTD bus. (This is the most economical choice) Route AF to Downtown Denver Market Street Station.). Get on the FREE shuttle bus to Civic Center Station. Walk South on Broadway (toward park, away from downtown) 4 blocks to 11^th Avenue. The 11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel is at 11^th Avenue and Broadway on the East side of Broadway, (left side).

If you are driving, take Pena Blvd to I-70 Westbound, (right). I-70 to I-25 Southbound. I-25 South, to 38^th Ave. / Park Ave. exit 213. This is the first exit when entering Southbound I-25. Disclaimer stuff:

11^th Avenue Hotel and Hostel does NOT provide parking for vehicles. There is however a private lot 1 block away, that only charges, (at the time of this writing) per entry. That means if you enter once, you pay once per stay. However if you enter 7 times in a day, you pay 7 times that day.

All dorm beds are twin beds. (one person) Female Dorms are either 4, or 6 person Dorms with private restrooms and bathing facilities. Each Male Dorm is 8 person with common restrooms and bathing facilities. All Dorm guests have access to the community room, and lockers in the dorms.

Private rooms: We have 4 types of private rooms.

Discount European Rooms are Single occupancy only. (1 person, 1 bed)

European Rooms are Single or Double occupancy. (1 or 2 persons, 1 bed)

Ensuite Rooms are Single or Double occupancy. (1 or 2 persons, 1 bed)

SOME European and Ensuite Rooms can accommodate 3 or more persons for an extra charge per person, and roll-a-way rental. (Call, or E-mail for availability)

All European Rooms share the public restrooms, and showers.

All Ensuite Rooms have private restroom and bathtub. SOME have a shower. (we are re-modeling and trying to get all Ensuite rooms a shower) Feel free to use the public showers if you want to.
